Two prolific shoplifters who stole hundreds of pounds worth of food and alcohol from shops in Rutland have been jailed.
Five times this month, from the 5th of January to last Saturday, 41 year old James Ailmore stole items from 5 different local stores including numerous bottles of wine. On three of these occasions he was also joined by Pauline Hutchinson, who's 42. The pair, from Yew Tree Crescent in Melton, were caught after officers reviewed CCTV footage. Both pleaded guilty to theft and were sentenced on Monday at Leicester Magistrates Court. James Ailmore was given six weeks in prison. Pauline Hutchinson was sentenced to four weeks suspended for 12 months.
