Rutland Police went undercover last night in Oakham to tackle community concerns.
Two Rutland beat bobbies, PC Spruce and Angel, covered over 5 miles on foot in plain clothes and then went about stopping suspicious vehicles in a plain car equipped with blues and twos. They say Oakham has anti-social behaviour and drug activity is two of its neighbourhood priorities and going without uniform does have its benefits when enforcing them.
