Campaigners say the development alongside Stamford North means issues get lost between the two counties.
Protect Quarry Farm says the latest update on the Rutland local plan doesn't fill them with confidence that the issues around the planned 650 house development on the site off Casterton Road near the border with Stamford will be tackled. It follows a meeting of Rutland County Council's cabinet where members said the weight of public objections against a proposed site on Brooke Road in Oakham meant they'd take this area out of the local plan. Campaigners at Quarry Farm said with their development being responsible for half the Council's housiing allocation, they deserved to also be discussed in the meeting.
