Rutland Police is hoping suspected haircoursers having caught sight of officers last night between Launde Abbey and Loddington will serve as a deterrent to them returning.
Reports of eight people and three dogs were shared with police. A white van believed to be involved was said to be travelling at high speed and failed to stop when officers challenged it.
