Police appeal for witnesses

Police in Bourne are asking anyone who knows anything about an assault in the town in the early hours of last Saturday morning to contact them.

A 48 year old woman was attacked in Church Lane and lay unconscious for a time. The passageway connects South Road with Abbey Road by the side of the church. Officers don't have a description of the assailant but are asking anyone who has CCTV, doorbell or dash cam footage or witnessed anything suspicious between 12:30am and 2:30am on Saturday morning the 2nd of November to contact them.
