The last weekend of cricket took place for our local sides.

Leicestershire & Rutland League:

Oakham Town 1sts lost by 63 runs at home, despite 99 from Joe Johnson to the champions Rothley Park 1sts in the Premier Division.

In Division 1, Uppingham Town 1sts lost by 9 wickets away to champions Shepshed 1sts after making 204.

Well done to Uppingham 2nds in Division 6 East, who secured promotion with a 7wicke t win against Lutterworth 3rds.

At the other end of the table, disappointment for Market Overton 1sts, despite beating Countesthorpe 2nds by 5 wickets and making it back-to-back wins they have been relegated.

Wakerley & Barrowden in Division 7 East produced an excellent win by 9 wickets at 3rd placed Sileby Town 4th X1, which sees them finish 5th. Set 196 to win, Chris White 82 and Nathan Hall 83 not out put on an opening stand of 191.

Market Overton 1sts in Division 4 East lose by 2 wickets and after being bowled out by Peterborough Town 2nds for 144, whilst in Division 4 West, Uffington 2nds scored 210-4 with Damian Herrick, 62 not out but lost by 5 wkts at home to Nassington 1sts.

Finally in Division 1, Uppingham Town conceded their game away to Peterborough Town 1sts.

South Lincs & Border League:

In the Championship, the champions Burghley Park 1sts secured a 2 wicket home win over Boston 1sts.

Finally in Division 3, congratulations to Ketton Sports 2nds who secured promotion with a 158 run win against Uffington 1sts who were all out for 101.
