Local paralympians enjoying success in Paris

In the Paralympics in Paris, Lauren Steadman, who trained Oundle School, is expected to compete in the final of the triathlon, along with fellow Team GB athlete Claire Cashmore.

The event was delayed after concerns over water quality in the River Seine. Stamford School’s Bruce Dee will get a hero's welcome back at sixth form when he returns after setting new personal bests and breaking his own British record in the 100 metre breaststroke after four, what the school describes, incredible performances for the 17 year old.
