Seven charitable organisations across Lincolnshire have received grant funding from National Grid's Electricity Distribution latest Community Matters Fund.
The fund, which was established in 2021, has awarded more than £11m to charities and community groups across the Midlands, South West and South Wales since it launched. Rutland and Stamford Sound's pop-up radio last year was funded by the grant. Many warm spaces have also received money. Last October, the Community Matters Fund made £0.5m available to charities and community groups tackling fuel poverty.
Working with Localgiving, funding was awarded to a total of 117 organisations across the network operators regions, with projects being delivered until March this year to help customers through the colder months.
