You Make Me Feel Like Dancing

Have you shared your views about life in Rutland?

The results of The Future Rutland Conversation have just been published but there is still an opportunity to have your say about life in the county.

The results of two months of discussions and surveys in The Future Rutland Conversation have now been published by Rutland County Council in ten summary reports. Feedback is now welcomed over the next couple of weeks as RCC ask if anything has been missed before a draft 'Vision for Rutland' is published later this Summer. Councillor Oliver Hemsley, Leader of RCC, says the important thing is that the communication channels between the council and the wider community remain open.

"I think it's really important to acknowledge that the Vison isn't an answer to all of the issues we face in this county at this moment" Oliver acknowledges, "we've gone through a large number of changes in the last two years, obviously. But it's really a declaration of the place we want Rutland to be....and this conversation is just the beginning of communicating with each other and being clear about what we can deliver. It's about the whole of the county...and how we can work together as a unified force. I think we can make a real difference."

The ten Future Rutland reports can be read here Future Rutland Conversation | Future Rutland and feedback submiited online.
