Fire destroyed a picnic bench in Gretton's Paddock Park at around 11:00 on Sunday evening.
Nearby residents extinguished the fire. Prevented it from spreading to nearby properties. The fire brigade then arrived to continue the work. Anyone who has any information is being asked to contact the parks Secretary Bob Dobson as investigations to determine the cause of the fire continue.
