On Monday 27th January, Alicia Kearns held the first of two meetings to hear views on the proposed local government reorganisation, and how it's likely to affect Rutland. We broadcast the meeting on Wednesday 29th January at 7pm. It's now available to listen again.
The meeting, chaired by Alicia Kearns at Victoria Hall in Oakham, began with Alicia's thoughts as to what she understood of the process so far, and the likely outcomes as she saw them. Views and questions from both sides were heard by the audience. The second meeting is on Monday 3rd February at 6pm, Rutland County Council are also holding a public meeting at Catmose chamber on Tuesday 11th February at 7pm.
