Rutland County Council and Burma Construction, say Brooke Road in Oakham will remain closed to cars for six weeks longer than originally planned
after various utilities were found in unexpected places, meaning the drains and kerbs will have to be redesigned as part of the development. People will be allowed to walk across on weekdays for an hour at 8:00am and 3:00pm from the 4th of November. The closure will remain in force for traffic though until the 30th of November.
