Christmas Day lunches for those alone during the festive season

Oakham Baptist Church say if you're on your own on Christmas Day

or can't afford to cook a meal, then you're welcome to join them at their community Christmas lunch on the 25th. There is a service at 11 and the lunch is at midday. To book, e-mail admin@oakhambaptist.org.uk or call them on 01572724990.

Second Helpings in Stamford are also holding their Christmas lunch on the 25th for nearly 100 people and they're looking for locals to donate unwrapped gifts to their pantry or cafe at Barn Hill Methodist Church ahead of the day.
