A free to use cashpoint is returning to Oakham High Street.
Engineers worked into the night last night to install the machine at the old Lloyds Bank in the same place as a previous ATM. It is now home to the banking hub operated by Cash.Access UK in partnership with the Post Office. It's not yet known when the machine will be in service, but it's powered up today ready for final tests. The last cash machine on the High Street in Oakham closed when HSBC shut its doors a couple of months ago. The banking hub opened in April and has worked to secure permission for an ATM ever since.
