Campaigns join forces to manage 2000 house development on the edge of Stamford

Protect Quarry Farm and Stand Up For Stamford are working together, as two separate planning applications get considered. They've also got a market stall on Saturday 18th February in the town to help spread the word of their combined campaign and fears surrounding the proposals.

The groups opposed to the combined 2000 home development to the north of Stamford say people can make a difference to what ends up being built.  Protect Quarry Farm and Stamford Up For Stamford are joining forces to attempt to at least control the make up of the two developments which will stretch from Ryhall Road to Casterton Road.  SKDC are currently accepting comments for Stamford North, Rutland County Council the Quarry Farm development, and some parts cover both Council areas.  Carys Vaughan and Laura Upson say the amount of public comments are crucial, as is some legal advice which Protect Quarry Farm fundraised for.  Here is their full interview with Rob Persani:
