The Uffington Scarecrow Festival is back for another spectacular May Bank Holiday Weekend, bringing our village to life with amazing handmade scarecrows, family fun, and plenty of community spirit!

This year’s theme: ‘Heroes & Heroines’
Who will make an appearance this year? Will we see King Arthur with his sword in the stone? Wonder Woman striking a pose? Or even David Attenborough keeping an eye on our local wildlife? We can’t say for sure, but we do know that our villagers always pull out all the stops with their creative and quirky scarecrow designs!

The festival promises a fun-filled weekend with something for everyone, including:
✅ Scarecrow Quiz Trail – Can you spot them all?
🐶 Dog Show (Sunday) – A firm festival favourite!
💃 Rutland Morris Dancers (Monday) – Traditional entertainment at its finest.
🚒 Ride-on Mini Fire Engine – A big hit with little festivalgoers!
🎨 Craft Barn, Face Painting & Bouncy Castles – Perfect for creative and energetic youngsters.
🚜 Farm Machinery, Classic Cars & Model Railway – A great showcase for enthusiasts.
🎟 Tombolas, Book & Plant Stalls, Traditional Games & More!

And of course, no festival would be complete without delicious food & drink, including BBQ, cake stalls, and ice cream. 🍰🍦

Entry: £5 per car (includes parking & quiz sheet).
🚶‍♂️ Quiz sheet only: £2.50
