The AG50 Company presents Neil Anthony Docking's remarkable play about the mothers of Aberfan

More Information (Rutland and Stamford Sound is not responsible for external websites)

Set eight months after the Aberfan Disaster of 1966, in which 144 people were killed (116 of them children), The Revlon Girl tells the real-life story of a group of bereaved mothers who met every week above a local hotel to talk, cry and even laugh without feeling guilty.

'The Revlon Girl' marks the launch of Rutland's newest stage community: 'The AG50 Company'. Established to provide the women of our area with an outlet to showcase their remarkable acting talents on stage, this pioneering venture seeks to prevent works which feature predominantly (but not exclusively) all-female casts.

Please note this play includes emotional scenes and strong language
